Graduation Requirements
Comprehensive high schools in Kern High School District (BHS, South, etc.) require 220 credits for graduation. BAS only requires 200 credits, because we do not require Physical Education; therefore, up to 20 credits of Physical Education are automatically deducted from all students transcripts,
Students who have been employed in the workforce, served in the military, or completed credits at an accredited college may be eligible to earn high school credit. Eligibility will be determined by providing proof of meeting one or more of these criteria. Please read the information sheet here (Work Experience) for details.
