Microsoft PowerPoint - One of the most useful tools for developing both personal and professional slide show presentations is Microsoft PowerPoint. This course will provide you with the knowledge and the skills to develop these kinds of presentations by applying design elements such as themes, clipart, SmartArt, transitions, and animations, inserting media such as pictures and video, and incorporating Microsoft Excel charts.

 

Microsoft Publisher  - This is an entry-level desktop publishing application, differing from Microsoft Word in that the emphasis is placed on page layout and design rather than text composition and proofing. This course will provide you with the knowledge and the skills to create flyers, tri-fold brochures, custom publications, and business information sets, and merge publications with data from Excel and Access.

 

Introduction to Microsoft Access - is a database management system that allows you to create tables, queries, forms, and reports. This course will provide you with the knowledge and skills to create new databases, set up tables in design view, sort and filter records, create and run queries, create simple forms and reports, and work with relationships.

 

Advanced Microsoft Access -  In the Advanced Course students will deepen their understanding of the software by creating and modifying relationships, formatting table layouts, structures, and properties using the Lookup Wizard, adding subforms, calculated controls, ScreenTips, and pop-ups to forms, creating crosstab, unmatched, duplicates, parameter and action queries, importing and adding reports and subreports, adding calculated controls to reports, setting Access options, splitting a database, exploring switchboards, creating navigation forms, setting and modifying startup options, hosting Access files in SharePoint, integrating Access with Word, Excel, and the Web, adding command buttons to forms, managing database objects and creating macros, backing up, restoring, analyzing, compacting and repairing a database, and setting database security using encryption and passwords.

 

Microsoft Office - This course is a professional office program that introduces students to the basic skills of word processing, electronic spreadsheets, electronic methods of creating advertisements, screen shows, presentations, and electronic databases. It is offered for those students who wish to gain or improve proficiency with word processing, to obtain employment in record keeping, payroll, or accounting, to gain employment in the advertising industry, to integrate electronic screen shows into their daily work, to gain or improve proficiency with database programs, and who wish to obtain employment in database analysis. It will provide the learner with the basic knowledge, skills, and background necessary to write and edit business letters, envelopes, mailing labels, calendars, and flyers, develop and edit business spreadsheets, design and edit PowerPoint slides, and develop and edit electronic databases.

 

Adobe Photoshop CC - is an industry-standard graphic design software. This course will provide you with the knowledge and the skills to correct and enhance digital photographs, utilize masks and channels, prepare files for the web, create and manipulate 3D images, produce and print documents, as well as more fundamental concepts such as working with type, layers, brushes, and familiarizing yourself with the work area.

 

Adobe Illustrator CC - is an industry-standard graphic design software. This course will provide you with the knowledge and the skills to create and edit shapes using Live Trace and Pathfinder, manage multiple artboards, create images in Perspective Grid, blend colors and shapes, create 3D photos, develop symbols, as well as more fundamental concepts such as working with type, layers, brushes, and familiarizing yourself with the work area.

 

Introduction to Computers - The purpose of this course is to increase literacy (by learning key terms and vocabulary) and proficiency (by completing a series of step-by-step activities) as they pertain to the most fundamental concepts and techniques of the Windows operating system and Microsoft Outlook software. By successfully completing this course you will acquire the knowledge and the skills to develop simple word processing documents, cut, copy, paste, delete, and rename files in Windows Explorer, locate desired information on the Internet, protect your computer against viruses and other unsafe content, send and receive emails with attachments, create appointments and tasks on a calendar, and create contacts.

 

Introduction to Microsoft Word - Word is a dynamic document-authoring program that lets you create and easily modify a variety of documents. This course will provide you with the knowledge and skills to create professional business letters, memorandums, and press releases, apply basic formatting to text, and create tables and formulas.

 

Advanced Microsoft - Word In the Advanced Course students will deepen their understanding of the software by creating styles, table of contents, headers, footers, and indexes, tracking and reviewing changes, comparing documents, using Document Inspector, protecting and signing documents, modifying PDF files, and integrating other Microsoft Office applications.

 

Introduction to Microsoft Excel - is commonly used to organize and synthesize data, perform both simple and complex calculations, and create charts and diagrams. This course will provide you with the knowledge and the skills to develop these kinds of spreadsheets.

 

Advanced Microsoft Excel - In the Advanced Course students will deepen their understanding of the software by applying custom and conditional formatting, creating financial functions and variable data tables, using the What If Analysis tools, Scenario Manager, and Goal Seek, creating conditional functions using IF and IFS criteria, Using 3-D cell references, creating formulas with lookup functions, creating outlines and subtotals, using the Quick Analysis tool, creating Pivot Tables and Pivot Charts and calculated fields, creating tables, structured references, and sparklines inserting hyperlinks comments, and forms, as well as inspecting and protecting workbooks.
