HOW DO I START MY REGISTRATION?
STEP ONE: Submit Your Transcripts
If the last school you attended is outside the Kern High School District:
Contact that school directly to request your official transcripts. Each school has its own process. If your transcript arrives in a sealed envelope, do not open it—opened transcripts cannot be accepted. Bring your sealed official transcript with you and provide it to a counselor on the day you test.
If you attended a Kern High School District school in 2012 or earlier:
Request your transcripts through Parchment.com and have them ready when you come in to test.
If the last school you attended is in the Kern High School District (2013 or later):
You do not need to bring a transcript. We already have access to it.

STEP TWO: Come In to Test
Testing is required for enrollment.
A score of 239 is needed to qualify for high school diploma classes.
Testing schedule is below.

September 29th - 8:00 am, 12:30 pm and 5:30 pm

Enrollment at Bakersfield Adult School depends on availability.
MORNING CLASSES MEET:
- Monday–Friday: 8:20 a.m. – 10:20 a.m.
- Monday–Friday: 10:30 a.m. – 12:20 p.m.
EVENING CLASSES MEET:
- Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday: 5:30 p.m. – 8:30 p.m.
