Culinary Arts - Cafe' 1600

Café 1600 is currently being remodeled, we look forward to a re-opening after the remodel (exact date to be determined).
Location: 1600 East Belle Terrace in the County Building two blocks off Highway 58 at America's Job Center.
Hours: Tuesday through Friday (Breakfast 8:15am-10am) / (Lunch 11am-1:30pm)

Description Beginning
This course provides an introduction to food service career opportunities and requires mastery of entry-level skills, knowledge, and professional attitude/etiquette relating to food preparation and service. The course includes instruction in food production, baking, and garde manager, food safety, nutrition, dining room service and special event planning, career awareness and employability skills, use and care of equipment; workplace safety; menu planning; storeroom/inventory procedures; POS system; facility maintenance; and foodservice management.
Description Advanced
This course will expand on the understanding and application of the principles, techniques, and standards related to food production. Pre-requisite for course enrollment: successful completion of the Beginning Culinary Art Program.

Times Class Times  Monday - Friday from 8:00am - 2:30pm
Cost Class Fee:  $50 cash only
