Career Technical Education Registration

Registration Process:
Students must fill out a registration form at the finance office to initiate their registration. If the program has a material fee, payment will be required while the registration form is processed. Upon completion, students will receive a schedule and any additional information needed for the class, such as location, date, and hours.
 
Registration will begin for the Fall 2025 Semester will start in July.  Watch the website for updates.
 
Fall Semester: August - December
Spring Semester: January - May
 
LVN Prerequisites:
  • Medical Math: Offered Spring Semesters Only
  • Psychology: Offered Spring Semesters Only
  • Medical Terminology*: Offered Fall & Spring Semesters
    • Students who achieve a grade of B or higher will receive articulated credit with Bakersfield College.
  • Anatomy & Physiology: Offered Fall Semesters Only
****All four (4) classes must be completed at the time of application submission. A minimum grade of "C" is required. Classes must be completed within five years of the start date. Prerequisites may be taken at the Bakersfield Adult School or through equivalent courses at an accredited college.
 
Recycling Lives:
  • No Material Fee
  • Registration is through Employers Training Resource (ETR) located in America's Job Center of California (AJCC) (refer to flyer for information)
  • ETR forwards registrations to the Finance Office to enroll students.
 
Digital Literacy Information Systems Technician 
Offered: Fall and Spring Semester
Time: 5:30-8:30 pm

Material Fee: $100
 
Network Cabling (Prerequisite for Cybersecurity)
Offered: Part I, Fall and Spring Semester
Time: 5:30-8:30 pm
Location: Liberty High School, Room 1704
Material Fee: $100 which covers both Network Cabling and Cybersecurity courses.
 
Cybersecurity
Offered: Part II, Fall and Spring Semester
Time: 5:30-8:30 pm
Location: Liberty High School, Room 1704
 
Paraprofessional/Teacher Assistant Class:
 
Culinary Program: Cafe'1600
