We are pleased to announce that our registration (For HSD and ISP) will reopen online July 10th, for all students wanting High School Diploma or Independent Study.
We encourage you to mark this date on your calendar and set a reminder to ensure you don't miss out on the chance to expand your knowledge and skills with us.
Step one: Fill out our 2023-2024 Student Intake Form
This only reserves you a place in the program of your choice. You will be fully enrolled in the Counseling Office after you take a reading assessment (CASAS Test).
Step two: If the last school you attended is outside the Kern High School District, you need to request your transcript and provide it when you meet with one of our counselors. Please go to parchment.com to obtain your transcript. If you receive an official transcript in a sealed envelope, please do not open it. An open envelope cannot be accepted. PLEASE NOTE: If the last school you attended is in the Kern High School District, you do not need to bring a transcript. We have access to it. |
Step three: Come in to test on one of the dates below: A score of 239 is required to qualify for high school diploma classes. Location: Bakersfield Adult School (Gate 2) Room: 102 Times: 8am, 12:30pm and 5:30pm.(Show up at one of these times) General Student Registration: August 7, 8, 9, & 10
Assessment testing is first come first served. You must assess to enroll into a class. |
