| Step one: Fill out our New Student Intake Form: <--- Click this link. This only reserves you a place in the program of your choice. You will be fully enrolled in the Counseling Office after you take a reading assessment (CASAS Test). |
Step two: Obtain yourtranscript: If the last school you attended is outside the Kern High SchoolDistrict, you need to request your transcript and provide it when you meetwith one of our counselors. Please go to parchment.com to obtain your transcript if you do nothave an official transcript sent to you via email or in a sealedenvelope. Do not open the sealed envelope. An open envelope cannot beaccepted.
PLEASE NOTE: If the lastschool you attended is in the Kern High School District, you do not need tobring a transcript. We have access to it. |
Step three: Come in to test on one of the dates below: A score of 239 is required to qualify for high school diploma classes. Location: Bakersfield Adult School Room 132 Gate 2
TESTING DATES AND TIMES
Monday - May 15th, May 22nd at 8:00 am and 12:30 pm Tuesday - May 16th, May 23rd, and May 30th at 8:00 am, 12:30 pm and 5:30 pm
Summer school starts Monday, June 5th
