High School Diploma Registration
Those planning to register for High School Diploma classes must complete the online intake form, which will reopen on April 29th, 2024, before taking an assessment.
Our Next registration for HSD (High School Diploma) /ISP (Independent Study) classes will be for our summer classes.
Date: Monday, May 13th and 20th
Time: 8:00 am or 12:30 pm
Date: Tuesday, May 14th, 21st and 28th
Time: 8:00 am, 12:30 pm, or 5:30 pm
Testing room# 132 is on the Mount Vernon campus at 501 South Mount Vernon. Please enter in Gate #2.
You must assess to enroll in a class. Assessments begin promptly at the above-listed times. Please arrive 15 minutes early to secure your place in line. Limited space available. First come, first served

HOW DO I START MY REGISTRATION?
Step one: Intake Form (Closed will reopen April 29th)
This only reserves you a place in the program of your choice. You will be fully enrolled in the Counseling Office after you take a reading assessment (CASAS Test).
Step two: If the last school you attended is outside the Kern High School District, you must request your transcript and provide it when you meet with one of our counselors. Please go to parchment.com to obtain your transcript. If you receive an official transcript in a sealed envelope, please do not open it. An open envelope cannot be accepted.
PLEASE NOTE: If the last school you attended is in the Kern High School District, you do not need to bring a transcript. We have access to it.
Step three: Come in to test on one of the dates below. A score of 239 is required to qualify for high school diploma classes.
